Founded in 2009, Diprente is an award-winning, independent, Johannesburg-based production house. Our activities span development, financing and production of television content and motion pictures for audiences worldwide. We are driven by a dedication to crafting distinct and entertaining stories that embody our taste and sensibilities throughout the creative spectrum. Diprente operates under the following divisions: Film, Television, Branded Entertainment and Animated Kids Content.
Kagiso Lediga
Kagiso Lediga is a multiple award-winning and celebrated stand-up comedian, actor, writer and director. He is the creator of the pioneering South African comedy sketch show The Pure Monate Show (PMS), and co-creator and show-runner of the two time International Emmy nominated Late Nite News with Loyiso Gola (LNN). Kagiso has created and helmed many original formats which have become hit television series in South Africa, and has been awarded for his work on and off camera. Lediga’s debut film, Catching Feelings was released in May 2018 to a global audience as a Netflix Original. His second feature, Matwetwe (Wizard), is being released in partnership with internationally acclaimed DJ Black Coffee
Tamsin Andersson
Tamsin Andersson is an award-winning film and television producer. Her work spans documentary film, short feature, reality television, live broadcast, satirical news, sketch comedy, scripted television series, and feature films. She co-created and produced the long-running satirical news show Late Nite News with Loyiso Gola (LNN), which received two International Emmy Award nominations in 2013 and 2014. Tamsin’s first feature film, Catching Feelings, was released in May 2018 to a global audience as a Netflix Original. Her second feature, Matwetwe (Wizard), is being released in partnership with internationally acclaimed DJ Black Coffee.
Isaac Mogajane
Having started his career at Procter & Gamble, Isaac decided to blend his passion for entrepreneurship with his love for film and co-founded Diprente Films. Since then Isaac has produced and executive produced a number of television series and feature films including the action comedy, Blitz Patrollie, the Netflix Original Feature film, Catching Feelings and the currently airing Bantu Hour with Hugh Masekela. More recently, Isaac has spear-headed the launch of Diprente Junior, an animation studio currently producing its first globally distributed series, Anansi.
Luke Henkeman
Luke Henkeman is an investor in South African startups and small businesses through his Still Capital vehicle. His Still Capital portfolio includes technology businesses such as Yoco, Lifecheq and HouseME, along with content creator Diprente and social enterprise Amazi Group. Previously, Luke was an interest rates analyst and portfolio manager at Coronation Fund Managers, where he was the primary credit analyst covering South Africa, Africa and the High Yield markets – during this period he successfully avoided the African Bank and Firet Tech bankruptcies, along with the SANRAL restructure. Luke was also manager or co-manager of a range of funds including the Granite Hedge Fund. Luke graduated his Business Science degree in Economics from the University of Cape Town, and later also became a CFA charterholder. He is currently completing a Postgraduate Diploma in Strategy and Innovation at the Saïd Business School, University of Oxford

JOHN VOLMINK
John Volmink was the Co-Founder and Managing Director of Diprente Films. He tragically passed on the 25th of February 2017, at age 33. Having completed a degree in economics, John began his professional career at JP Morgan in Johannesburg as an investment banking analyst. In 2009, he, along with Kagiso Lediga and Isaac Mogajane, founded Diprente Films which went on to produce some of South Africa’s most iconic TV shows and films. He is greatly missed.
